Adam Hulse has started or run with a Random Vampire Deck Building Challenge. Choose a random vampire as a 'key minion' or as the 'starting vampire' and then build a deck.
Adam built a Talbot's Chainsaw & Blood Tempering combat deck. I've decided to run with Thucimias CEL, DEM, OBF... and teamed her up with !Malks because a few of them have [cel].
**While I was tinkering there seemed to be a really nice option to build a deck utilising Black Hand tech and Thucimia. It would be a G4-5 deck rather than G3-4 which this one is...

Yeah I know. I've got to bring out Thucimia + 1 Big !Malk. I didn't say it was a quick setup and I don't remember there being a requirement for a Tier 1 Deck...:P But that is what the Zillah's Valley are all about. Play a Zillah's to get out either Thucimia or an 8-cap !Malk. Costs more pool, but then gives me more time to get the cost back by Kindred Spirits.

1 Cel master card to make your malks do same combo as Thucima.
'Keep it Simple' is good for decks that don't really have bounce... AND some light standing intercept. [Example - mid cap ANI decks]. 'Wrong and Crosswise' and 'Confusion of the Eye' might be better here.
Aside from changing the Grooming to Blood dolls / Giant's Blood or something the deck looks pretty good.
You haven't used any clan or sect tech in this write up so maybe Antoine, The Lost or Ruth McGinley instead of Roger Farnsworth?
@Adam: I did have a look through and thought of getting in some Black Hand tech, since there was a very nice synergy... but I'm not really used to using the Black Hand tech.
ReplyDeleteYeah the Target Vitals are there more for the !Malks... but sure. Grooming the Protege is really for getting more cheap !Malks than helping you offset the cost of Thucimia. It's about reducing the effective cost of Persephone/White Lily.
